Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort Nolard's istoryahe

Summer in the Philippines has already arrived and one common idea every summer is to plan your family or friends outing in the purpose of having a bonding,fun and chilling yourselves into swimming pools and beaches.Some are in the purpose of de-stressing him/herself who is working in a very busy city.

I and my family planned an outing and decided to do it in March 24-25,2016 and we agreed to each other to have an overnight stay to the place where we will go.They let me do the research and we end up into Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort at Bgy.Capipisa,Tanza Cavite.

Reasons why we pick up Tanza Oasis:
1. Near in Metro Manila
2. Budget
3. A resort that has a combination of swimming pool and a beach

Let's get started...

At front gate,there are staffs that will entertain you for your visit,and there goes a transaction between you and them.If you're rich,it is better to have a room reservation before going here specially during summer holiday season.And if you are on a tight budget,their cottages will do fine for your stay here,we get cottage.A staff will give you wristband that has a color code before entering.Childrens are included for an entrance fee,but babies are free.

I am very impressed with the resorts cleanliness.It is well maintained,secured but not quiet at night.When you have an accomodation at cottages expect noise like you are in a singing contest or in a concert.Some visitors have their rented videokes and they don't abide the resort's rule that at 10pm no loud sounds are allowed.Some guests are complaining to the resort's staffs but what they can do? those "singing contestants" are also their guests having fun.So it is better to plug your headset and listen to your mp3 songs until you fall asleep.The guests who has a room reservation at the resort's hotel has an advantage in terms of comfort with that overnight stay situation.

Do not expect cream or white sand beach here in Cavite,the only fine cream sand beach of Cavite is Boracay de Cavite or also known as Marine Base beach or Katungkulan beach as I know,which located at Ternate,Cavite.Also do not expect a clear blue sea waters here in Tanza Cavite but for me the sea water here in Tanza Oasis was just fine for swimming compared to other beach and resorts in Cavite.

Important reminder when you are in a cottage accomodation,do not leave your things unattended.You are in a public place be responsible on your own things and on your childrens,even though you are having fun and this resort has their lifeguards and security guards roaming around,bandits and strangers are everywhere.Your slippers or flip flops will gone in a minute if you do not leave it in your cottage when you are going to swim in beach or in pool.Tanza Oasis has a fishing village beside their property and they allow the villagers to sell their dried fish,snacks,and salbabidas to the resort's guests(three points for Tanza Oasis helping the livelihood of the villagers).I'm not saying that those villagers are the bandits,what I'm pointing out is you are surrounded by strangers,so again,BE RESPONSIBLE while having fun.

 

Tanza Oasis allows food,beverages and tent pitching with no corkage fee.They have their own convenience store inside the resort,but not all the things that you need are available.Outside the resort's gate,there are many sari-sari store that could provide your needs,just inform the gate's guard that you are buying some stuff outside the resort and do not lose your wristband.

If you forget or you intended not to bring barbeque grill,the resort has a barbeque grill for rent at Php 200.00(very expensive price for renting a bbq grill).And if you do not want to rent,they have their free of use barbeque grill just fall in line and wait for your turn for your fresh porkchop or fresh fish to be grilled.Of course I do not want to pay Php200.00 for their grill so we did borrowing from our friendly guest neighborhood beside our cottage. :)

The resort's swimming pool has a depth from 2 feet to 5 feet so it means that diving is not allowed,they are not strict in swimming attire but men should not wear t-shirts or sandos during swimming.They will allow it if you're wearing a plain white shirt.Observe their rules and regulations of using the swimming pool.

 

 Beside the slide there's the kiddie pool,never leave your kids in that pool as you can see beside

of it is the 5 feet depth side of the swimming pool,actually it is not 5 feet,I tried to dip my whole body

standing from the swimming pool's floor on that part and the pool's water is 5 inches above my head and it means that,that part of the pool is 6 feet in depth.My height is 5'7".

HOW TO GET THERE :                                                                                                                                                     

Commuting- From Lawton,Manila or Baclaran there are Saulog Buses going to Tanza,look for Ternate via Cavitex signage for faster trip.You can also ride baby buses in Baclaran going to Tanza but this baby buses will passing Aguinaldo hi-way that will cost you more time of travelling,so I'm suggesting that you should take Saulog Bus via Cavitex going there.Tell the conductor to drop you off at Tanza Oasis Resort Km.41 A Soriano Highway,Bgy.Capipisa East,Tanza.Bus fare is about Php 80.00 per pax (one way).When you dropped off on a bus,you will see a tricycle terminal going to Tanza Oasis Resort.Trike fare is Php 10.00 per pax.

Travel time: 1 hour from Baclaran

Private Car- I'm sorry I don't have a car,please use google map :)

Photo Enhancements and Post Processing for Beginners

Hello there photography beginner or I must say photography enthusiast :)

Now I would like to discuss my insights about photo enhancements and post processing.Keep on reading cowboy!

As a beginner,we are always amazed and curious looking at the crafts of professional and amateur photographers posted and shared on Facebook,"how they did that?","how they shoot?" "what are the camera settings?","how they post processed it?",this questions are also my questions when I was beginning in photography.Absolutely you will feel very jealous to also have that kind of beautiful landscape photo for yourself .You will become more inspired and you will plan a trip into a tourist spot and then you will shoot and shoot and shoot hoping to produce that kind of beautiful landscape photo of your own.You will wait for the sunset or sunrise and that is a very good plan,because most of the beautiful landscape photos were taken during that "golden hours".

Let me ask you a question photo enthusiast,do you already know how to do "long exposure shot"?

If NOT,kill your excitement having a trip and having beautiful landscape photo of your own asap.
Learn first how to shoot in manual mode and give yourself a time for research doing that "long exposure shot",this will help you to save more time in post processing and many times "long expo" need not to be post processed.

You said: "No!I'm too lazy for research and reading,I will have my trip tomorrow."

Fine,take care! But do not post or share your over saturated,non aligned horizontally landscape images.You are now becoming very amateurish using that on line photo editing sites or apps.You will add more contrast,you will sharpen it,you will add different photo filters or effects for your enhancements and you will end up in a moment that you do not know when to stop your post processing.And in the end, you already did not know if that landscape photo of yours is beautiful or not.

You said: "It is beautiful,it is my shot and look it is very colorful,and I did not research or even read about landscape photos but I did it."

I will say: That's not a photo,that is a cartoon. :) Amazing! you know how to draw Manga using that camera  xD

Post processing simply means enhancement.Make your images acceptable in human eyes.Heavy post processing may apply on doing composite photos.And as I said before,post processing are not needed on most "long exposure shot".

Let me give you an example to make myself clear

Most photography beginners are using on line photo editing apps for their post processing needs,just because they do not know how to use Adobe Photoshop,Lightroom etc..There's nothing wrong with those on line photo editing sites or applications,actually some of it are very good photo editing tools.Google Picasa is one of those.My point is post process your photo to enhance it,not to ruin it.
Avoid heavy vignetting,avoid oversaturating and avoid unnecessary photo filters.Just make it naturally beautiful.Okay?!

Let's go on LE (long exposure shots).
You may post process your LE shots by reducing it's "noise" in Photoshop,click the "Filter" that you will see above the work template and then reduce it.

Don't apply sharpening,"noise" will come out,but apply the tools that you think will enhance the image.Post processing needs some skills,be keen on details and most of all make it look natural but beautiful.You can also put watermark on your images,make it small.

Here's one of my long exposure shot that I don't do post processing aside from my watermark.I swear it.TIPS:by doing LE  shots you will need a tripod and if you do have a remote trigger then use it.Set your camera on M mode,turn off the VR(Vibration Reduction-Nikon) or IS(Image Stabilization-Canon) button on your lens,for the camera will seek a vibration when it is turned ON,it will result a blur on your LE shot.Use the Live View function of your camera for your comfort while shooting.And..experiment on your manual settings,learn from your own experience. :)

Taddaahhh!!!

Practice makes perfect,but nobody is perfect.So don't practice...Just shoot and shoot and shoot.LOL!

Photography Beginner (Ang Pagsisimula)

Sa mundo ng mga taong mahilig o nahihilig sa visual arts ay hindi mo maaaring ialis ang potograpiya (photography) at ang katotohanan ay halos lahat ng mga Pilipino ay mahilig sa litrato,selfie dito-selfie doon,hindi gaya noong unang panahon na ang photography ay para lamang sa mga Maharlika o mayayamang tao.At nagpapasalamat ako ng marami na isa ako sa mga ipinanganak sa panahong ito na laganap na ang tinatawag na "digital photography".

Sa dami ng mga pagpapaliwanag sa internet tungkol sa photography hindi ko na kailangan pang ipaliwanag pa ito.Pero sa mga nagsisimula pa lang sa larangan ay maaari mong sundan ang mga nais kong ipaglingkod sa 'yo at sa iba pang mga tao.

Una,bakit ka bumili o nagbabalak bumili ng sarili mong unang camera? Dahil ba sa......

1) Nais mo lang ma-preserve ang mga ala-ala sa buhay mo.
      -para sa akin ito talaga ang dapat na maging numero unong dahilan,dahil ang nakaraan,sa larawan
        at videos mo na lang makikitang muli at mababalikan.
2) Kinahihiligan mo talaga ang photography.
      -magandang senyales para sa isang baguhan sa photography,pero tandaan mo ang pagkahumaling
        ay nauuwi rin minsan sa pagkasawa.
3) Nais mong gawing negosyo ang photography.
      -huwag kang tataya sa isang negosyong wala kang kaalam-alam,makabubuting gawin mo muna
       itong libangan,pagsanayan at puhunanan ng mga kaalaman.
4) Nakikiuso at gusto lang magkaroon ng sariling camera.
      -sayang lang ang ipambibili mo ng camera,itabi mo na lang sa banko ang iyong pera.

Sa lahat ng pagdedesisyon sa buhay.Kinabukasan ang nakasalalay.

"Pareng Nolard gusto ko talaga matuto ng photography".

Isa lang ang masasabi ko diyan kaibigan."Read and execute",there is only one great teacher and that is EXPERIENCE.Kung makakaya mo na kumuha ng mga photography workshops ay mas makabubuti sa paglusong mo sa photography.Isang payo lang kaibigan,sa isang legitimate o known school of photography ka lamang kukuha ng iyong mga training,huwag ka mag-aaksaya ng pera sa mga professional na mapagsamantala.Marami sila,lalo na sa mga social media sites gaya ng Facebook.Maging matalino,mapanuri at masiyasat.

Ngayon,nakabili ka na ng sarili mong camera,DSLR pa.Narito ang mga dapat mong gawin.

1.BASAHIN ANG GUIDE BOOKS AT MANUAL NG CAMERA ng ito ay 'yong bilihin,bago mo
    ito  gamitin,huwag kang padadala sa excitement.
   -Nasa huli ang pagsisisi - "kung nabasa ko lang yun sana hindi nasira ang aking camera"

2.MAKIPAG-KAIBIGAN KA SA MGA TAONG ANG HILIG AY HILIG MO RIN
   -"Birds of same feather flocks together",marami kang matutununan sa kanila at sikapin mong may
     matutunan din naman sila sa 'yo.Pero,ito ang masaklap na katotohanan; kayo-kayo rin ang
     magtataguan ng mga nalalaman at natutunan.Dahil sa industriya ng potograpiya kayo-kayo ring
     magkakasama ang maglalaban laban.

3.Kung nakabili ka ng mamahaling camera,BUMILI KA RIN NG PANLINIS SA CAMERA
   -Sa lumilipas na panahon na natututo ka,daragdagan mo rin ang 'yong mga gears,nariyan
    na bibili ka ng tripod,bagong lente,mga filters,waterproof camera bag,flash at marami pang iba.
    Walang silbi ang mga binili mong karagdagang gamit kung ang mismong camera mo ay hindi mo
    inaalagaan,darating din ang panahon na gusto mo ng palitan ng bago o i-upgrade ang 'yong camera
    at ibebenta mo ito sa iba.Huwag mong hayaan na baratin ng mga mamimili ang iyong ginamit at
    ibinebentang camera ng dahil lang sa hindi mo ito inalagaan.

4.IWASAN ANG MAKIPAGTALO AT MAKIPAG-GALINGAN
   -Habang natututo ka sa photography,huwag mo ipalagay sa sarili mo na isa ka ng mahusay na
    photographer.Ang photography ay walang katapusang pagtuklas,at nababahagi sa iba't ibang
    sektor,nariyan ang landscape photography,portraiture,street photography,wildlife photography,
    night photography at marami pang iba.Iba rin ang photojournalism na tinatawag kaysa mismong
    photography.Imbis na mapahiya sa pakikipagtalo at pakikipag-galingan,magtanong ka na lang
    sa lalo mo pang ikatututo.Ang mga photographer ay nahahati sa tatlo,1.Beginner 2.Amateur at
    ang pangatlo'y mga Professional.Alalahanin mo kung nasaan ka,subalit kapag narating mo na ang
    estado ng pagiging Professional mas maigi na ipalagay mo sa sarili mo na isa ka pa ring Beginner.
    May mga photography beginner ang lilitaw na mas magaling pa kaysa sa 'yo.Kaya huwag kang
    mayabang.

5.HUWAG KANG UMASA na ang pangit mong kuha ay magiging maganda rin kapag inedit o
    pinost process mo na sa mga computer editing softwares.
   -Bago ka mag post-processing,pag-aralan mo munang mag-shoot ng magandang kuha.Aralin mo
    na kumawala sa Auto Mode ng iyong camera at matutong mag-shoot ng Manual.Sa Auto Mode
    ay camera mo ang gumagawa ng litrato samantalang sa Manual mode ay ikaw ang gumagawa ng
    iyong litrato.Ang akala ng mga nagsisimula o basta lang kumukuha ay gaganda rin ang kanilang
    kuhang larawan kapag 'yon ay kanila ng inedit o pinost-process.Mag praktis ng mag praktis,
    magbasa ng magbasa,huwag mahiyang magtanong.

6.GAWIN MO ANG PHOTOGRAPHY NA KALIGAYAHAN MO SA BUHAY
   -Ito ang pinakaimportante sa lahat,huwag mong i-please ang mga tao ng mga shots mo.
     I-please mo ang sarili mo ng mga shots mo.dahil kung hindi ka masaya at sumasaya sa ginagawa
     mo,'yan na ang puntong magsasawa ka na at titigil.Para saan pa ang sinimulan mo at para saan
     pa ang mga binili mong gamit? Hindi ba't nag-aksaya ka lang ng panahon at salapi?
